Our History
We are affiliated with 6 star Hot Water & Plumbing. Our owner Robert Edwards is a former President of Master Plumbers ACT and a former Director of Master Plumbers Australia. He and his employees have been supplying and installing all types of hot water systems in the Canberra Queanbeyan Region since 1991. Prior to this, Robert was installing and repairing hot water systems in the Snowy Mountains of NSW.
Over the last 30 years we have trained more than 20 apprentice plumbers and gas fitters.

Not only do we install flat panel and evacuated tube solar hot water systems, we repair them too. Therefore, we have a better understanding of what can go wrong if an installation is poorly done or inferior parts are used. This means you are much more likely to get a longer life from the hot water systems we install.

We are recommended installers of Thermann and Apricus Evacuated tube solar hot water systems and Quantum heat pumps. This is due to our work practices and customer satisfaction.
Apart from some electrical work that we cannot perform under our restricted electrical licences, we do not use sub contractors. This means if you ever have warranty issues arising from one of our installations, we will accept responsibility for and rectify the problem.
Our Warranties
Workmanship
We offer a 5 year warranty on our workmanship. In this period we will repair any fault in the installation itself that is not related to a product failure, miss use, damage caused accidentally or on purpose, tampering or acts of nature. If you have a warranty issue we will attempt to attend to it within a matter of hours.
Products
We deem that all products we sell will have full manufacturers warranties unless stated in our quotes or agreed to prior to invoicing. Warranties for those products are limited to the manufacturers warranties.
Warranty exclusions
No products or workmanship will be covered by warranties if we or the manufacturer have not been given reasonable notice, time and access to the installation.
No products or workmanship will be covered by warranties if any person other than a representative of ours or the manufacturer attempts to rectify any faults in the installation.
(Reasonable time means 48 hours excluding weekends and public holidays)
Opening Hours
Our normal hours
Our normal hours of work are 7am until 5pm Monday to Friday. However, you can call to make a booking between 6.30 am and 6pm Monday to Friday – Public holidays excluded. During normal working hours we provide emergency hot water repairs as well as booked solar hot water servicing and solar hot water repairs.
After hours emergency hot water repairs
On weekends, public holidays and between the hours of 5pm and 7am Monday to Friday we provide after hours emergency solar hot water repairs and hot water repairs. Work undertaken during these periods is charged at double the rate of our standard weekday charges. You can make arrangements to have one of our solar hot water experts attend to do service work or non urgent repairs. However, you will be charged double the standard weekday charge out rate.
